California Fires, September 2015

Two deadly fires are burning in Northern California on Thursday, September 17, 2015. The Valley fire in Lake, Napa and Sonoma Counties has burned almost 74,000 acres and destroyed nearly 600 homes. The Butte Fire in Amador and Calaveras Counties has burned over 70, 000 acres and destroyed 252 homes. Both are threatening thousands of homes and commercial buildings. Five people have been reported killed in the fires.
