VIEWS
Overview
VIEWS is ImageCat’s notebook-based data collection and visualization system, which integrates GPS-registered digital video footage, digital photographs and observations with high-resolution satellite imagery collected before and after a disaster. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of a crisis situation, VIEWS streamlines the flow of information from the field to the key Decision- Makers.

- Visualization and analysis environment which the display of GPS- linked observations, photographs and video footage, overlaid on useful base layers, including multi-resolution satellite and airborne remote sensing imagery, and urban damage maps
- Deployed either from a moving platform (aircraft, boat, vehicle), or on foot during a walking tour
System Requirements
For optimal use of ImageCat’s VIEWS software, the following is recommended:
- Microsoft® Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP
- 128MB RAM minimum (256MB RAM recommended)
- Intel® Pentium® III
- 1024x768 display
- 100MB hard disk space (disk space requirement varies by survey)
- GPS (Output NMEA0183)
- Com Port for GPS
- Digital Video Camera (USB or Firewire download capability)
- Digital Camera
Training and Support
ImageCat can provide you with a custom training program designed to fit your company's unique training needs for VIEWS deployment in the field and using the visualization and analytical components of VIEWS.
