Typhoon Goni, August 2015

Typhoon Goni left a trail of damage from the Philippines to Japan at the end of August 2015. The typhoon made landfall in the Philippines on August 22, causing landslides and flooding in sections of northern Luzon. Twenty-one people in the region were reported killed.  The storm made landfall again on August 25 on Kyushu Island in Japan.  Strong winds damaged buildings and caused large scale power outages.
