Hurricane Patricia, the strongest storm ever recorded in the Western Hemisphere, made landfall along the Pacific coast of Mexico on Friday, October 23, 2015. The storm brought strong winds and rain, but weakened quickly. Damage has yet to be assessed. Although the storm has been downgraded, it continues to bring heavy rain inland and fears of flooding remain.
