ImageCat CEO Ronald Eguchi to present at the ICRM 2016 symposium in Singapore, 21 April 2016

18 Apr 2016

Mr Ronald Eguchi President & CEO of ImageCat will be speaking at the 7th International Symposium on Catastrophe Risk Management hosted by Nanyang Technological University’s
Institute of Catastrophe Risk Management (ICRM) on 21 April 2016, Singapore. The presentation titled “Filling in the Gaps – What We Need to Know to Build Robust Global Exposure Models” will outline several tiered approaches for generating data on large cities in both developed and underdeveloped countries. An understanding of what data are key for comprehensive loss and risk studies will be discussed. And new and emerging technologies that can facilitate the collection of these critical datasets will also be discussed. Mr. Eguchi will rely on case studies that ImageCat has worked on (e.g., for the Global Earthquake Model Foundation, the World Bank and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to explain the efficacy of technologies in building meaningful global exposure models.
