Ronald Eguchi, ImageCat CEO, and Charlie Huyck, Senior Vice President, led a joint session with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at The World Bank / GFDRR Understanding Risk Forum, May 14-18, 2018 in Mexico City. The session, titled Communicating Earth Observation Data: a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words, allowed for discussion among the participating leaders in disaster risk communication and management and the specialists who create EO data. The aim of the discussion was to enable participants to better understand current, common challenges to using EO data as well as how to better use the data for identifying and reducing future risk.
