The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) will be hosting the CREST Program Advanced Application Technologies to Boost Big Data Utilization for Multiple-Field Scientific Discovery and Social Problem Solving on January 14-15, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. The purpose of this symposium is to both share the current achievements of the projects and promote the exchange of scientific and technological ideas between domestic and international scientists in order to promote further international collaborations.

At the symposium, Ronald Eguchi, CEO of ImageCat, will be presenting in the Disaster Response session chaired by Shunichi Koshimura, Professor at the International Research Institute of Disaster Science, Tohoku University. Mr. Eguchi’s presentation is titled Communicating Earth Observation Data: a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. Professor Koshimura will present Real-time Simulation and Disaster Response.
