Typhoon Kammuri, the Philippines, Dec 2019

Typhoon Kammuri, also referred to as Tisoy, made landfall on Luzon, the most populous island of the Philippines, on Monday, December 2, 2019. The strong storm, equivalent to a Category 4 hurricane, brought heavy rain and strong winds and caused flooding and landslides in the region. Homes and structures were damaged and four people were killed. Approximately 225,000 residents had been evacuated in advance.
