Charles Huyck and Shubharoop Ghosh of ImageCat attended the kick-off meeting for the NASA funded project Critical Infrastructure and Exposure for Disaster Forecasting, Mitigation and Response. The meeting was held on January 17, 2020 in Vadodara, India, the project’s pilot city. The meeting involved a presentation about Vadodara Smart City, an introduction of project partners, a presentation by Mr. Huyck about the project, a speech by the Mayor of Vadodara, Dr. Jigeesha Jatinbhai Sheth,  and an open session of discussion. The meeting was attended by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, City Commissioner , director IT for Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC), and several other senior officers from VMC heading key area of water distribution, purification, sewage and sever management, health etc. External agencies who participated in the meeting included MS University professors (Civil and Computer Sc. invited), GPRD (GUVNL) and MGVCL (GUVNL).
